"Management is doing things right, leadership is doing the right things."
- Peter Drucker

“If one advances confidently in the direction of his dreams and endeavors to live to life which he has imagined, he will meet with a success unexpected in common hours...If you have built castles in the air, your work need not be lost: that is where they should be. Now, put the foundations under them.”
- Henry David Thoreau
About Timothy M. Henry
Timothy HenryMy purpose is to catalyze and coach leaders and organizations to accelerate their journey from good to great. My focus is on developing practical approaches to execute company strategies for long-term success. The core of my work is enabling leaders to lead change and build great cultures-- by enhancing trust, shifting mindsets, fostering courageous conversations and improving decision making.

I work with leading edge management tools derived from close collaboration with thought leaders in this area; such as David Norton and Bob Kaplan, authors of the seminal work on the Balanced Scorecard; and Bill George, author of “Authentic Leadership” and “True North” with whom I have facilitated programs at Harvard Business School.

With 30 years of experience as a trusted business advisor, my clients range from Fortune 20 to entrepreneurial, owner managed businesses, across the globe. A former Principal at Booz, Allen and Hamilton (in the Tokyo, NY and London offices), I have helped develop and grow two start-up consulting firms. I am a co-founder and Trustee of Conscious Capitalism and the Chair of the Board for Syntrio Inc, a training company focused on HR compliance and ethics issues. I serve on several non-profit boards. I am also the co-author of a forth coming book to be published by Harvard Business Press, “The Conscious Capitalism Field Manual: How Good Companies Become Great” and have developed a 2-day workshop series “The Journey to Conscious Capitalism: Making Conscious Capitalism relevant to your organization”.

I am a graduate of Magdalen College, Oxford University, England in PPE and the University of Southern California with an honors degree in interdisciplinary studies.

I am from Montreal, Canada, a Canadian and Irish citizen and a permanent resident of the US.

I work from Boston and London. Fabienne and I are parents and step-parents to five young adults. I enjoy the Theatre in London, hiking, and staying fit and well in the fullest sense of the word.
